Well's Oil

Essential Oil
Essential oils are highly concentrated version of the oils in plants. Essential oils are made with a process called distillation using either steam or water. In the distillation process, many parts of the plants, such as seeds, bark, stems, roots, and other parts of the plants, are being used to make this highly concentrated oil. This highly concentrated oil contains the plants’ characteristic fragrance, its healing properties, and other characteristic properties. Essential oils have therapeutic benefits and are used in many ways, such as aromatherapy, sprays, diffusers, baths, mix to your favorite shampoo or lotion, or massaging them directly into the skin.
Carrier Oil
A carrier oil is a fatty oil usually derived from the seeds, nuts, or kernels of a plant by cold pressing them. They tend to be referred to as vegetable oils, base oils, or fixed oils. The purpose of carrier oils is to dilute essential oils and carry them onto our skin. Carrier oils compared to essential oils are diluted to keep the therapeutic properties of the oil while getting rid of the irritation to sensitive skins in essential oils. Carrier oils can be used through massaging onto the skin, as a direct cleansing, mix with essential oils to reduce irritation to sensitive skins.
